Battlefords Union Hospital is without air conditioning until approximately Monday, July 23. We continue to provide care and service for our patients, and are doing our best to keep patients and staff as comfortable as possible.
Effective immediately, visitors and the public are asked not to come to BUH unless absolutely necessary. To help keep building temperatures down, we need to ensure that as few visitors and members of the public as possible are in the hospital.
We recognize the distress that this may cause patients as well as their family members and friends. Exceptions may be made for those comforting palliative or maternity patients.
We appreciate your cooperation and support. Repairs to the air conditioning are underway. Thank you for helping us and our patients during this situation.
